About The Position

The Department of English invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach various English courses during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 sessions. These positions involve delivering lectures, preparing course materials, and marking student work. The courses cover a range of topics including poetry, drama, narrative, culture, creative writing, and literature.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an MA degree in English (or MA/MFA in Creative Writing or equivalent for specific courses).
  • Teaching experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD degree in English is preferred for most positions.
  • Experience in teaching creative writing at a university level and a publication record in creative writing for specific creative writing courses.

Responsibilities
