About The Position

The Department of Animal Sciences, College of Agriculture and Bioresources invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the course VLAC 411 (02) Diseases of Ruminants during the 2026-27 Winter Session. This course will be offered as a Lecture with an expected enrollment limit of 60. The term for this course is Two (January to April), with classes scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 9:20 am. The location for this position is Saskatoon.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a closely related field with relevant teaching and professional experience.
  • Alternatively, a DVM degree (or equivalent veterinary degree) with demonstrated expertise in ruminant diseases will be considered.
  • Completion of the CUPE 3287 Employment Application Form.
  • Submission of curriculum vitae (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Teach VLAC 411 (02) Diseases of Ruminants during the 2026-27 Winter Session (Term Two: January to April).
  • Deliver the course as a Lecture.
  • Adhere to the course schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30am to 9:20am.
