Sessional Lecturer: RCM 200 Effective Professional Communication, College of Engineering
About The Position
The Graham School of Professional Development, College of Engineering is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach RCM 200 Effective Professional Communication during the 2026-27 Fall term. This course will be offered in a lecture format with three sections available. The expected enrollment limit per section is 22 students. The lecturer will be expected to work cooperatively with other faculty and instructors to ensure consistent quality and content delivery across multiple sections of the course. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a master’s degree in rhetorical studies
- Trained in speech tradition (preferred)
- Significant post-secondary teaching experience in a rhetorically grounded communication course (if specialization is not in rhetorical studies)
- Valid driver’s license (required for off-campus courses, though this course is on campus)
- Completion of the CUPE 3287 Employment Application Form
