About The Position

This Sessional Lecturer position is for the KPE355Y: Interpersonal Theory in Kinesiology and Physical Education course. The course aims to develop students' knowledge and competencies in interpersonal theory, covering topics such as verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, reflective practice, conflict management, decision-making, teamwork, and leadership. It integrates theory and practice, including a 100-hour field experience with a mentor. The Sessional Lecturer will be responsible for all aspects of designing and teaching this university credit course, including preparing and delivering content, developing, administering, and marking assignments, tests, and exams, calculating and submitting grades, holding regular office hours, and supervising TAs if applicable. The course will be taught in person.

Requirements

  • PhD preferred in a relevant area, or combination of relevant expertise and experience
