This Sessional Lecturer position is for the KPE320H: Administrative Theory course, which offers a unique blend of administrative theory and organizational behaviour. The course covers technical skills such as planning, goal setting, management by objectives, organizing tournament draws, budget making, financial management, fundraising, legal liability, and decision-making. These skills are examined in the context of traditional organizational factors like personality, motivation, leadership, power and politics, and communication. The curriculum also integrates contemporary issues including emotions, trust, work-life balance, workplace stress, globalization, diversity, and ethical decisions, utilizing case studies and problem-based learning. The role involves all duties associated with the design and teaching of a university credit course, including content preparation and delivery, development and marking of assignments, tests, and exams, grade submission, holding regular office hours, and supervising TAs if applicable. The course will be taught in person.
