About The Position

The Department of Management and Marketing in the Edwards School of Business invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach various courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The courses cover a range of topics including Indigenous Business in Canada, Entrepreneurial Thinking & Innovation, Digital Marketing Mastery, Innovation through AI, Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development, and the Edwards MBA Capstone Project. The position involves delivering lectures, engaging students in discussions, and potentially overseeing individual research reports. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking.

Requirements

  • A graduate or professional degree, or professional certification, in a field relevant to the course.
  • Relevant professional experience and ongoing professional engagement clearly linked to the field in which the candidate is expected to teach.
  • Professional engagement activities must be substantive and sustained at levels that support currency and relevance for Edwards' mission.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous teaching experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Teach sessional courses in the Department of Management and Marketing.
  • Deliver lectures and engage students in class discussions.
  • Oversee individual research reports for specific courses.
  • Prepare and mark course materials.
  • Potentially participate in developing and refining new venture ideas for the MBA Capstone Project.
