About The Position
In this fourth architectural design studio in the Master of Architecture studio sequence, students will be guided through the challenges of integrating structural and environmental systems, while responding to site conditions and addressing a program of moderate complexity. This studio is meant to provide students with an opportunity to integrate the variety of systems (technical and otherwise) necessary to architecture.
Requirements
- M.Arch degree or other Graduate degree in Architecture preferred
- proven record of teaching foundation design studios at the M. Arch and/or B.A/B.Arch level
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of contemporary architectural pedagogy and the current state of the discipline, at both practical and theoretical levels, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Attending meetings required by studio coordinator
- Preparation and delivery of course material
- managing digital teaching materials
- supervision of teaching assistants
- preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations
- marking of student work
- submission of grades
- dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions
- student contact hours
