This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach VIS332H1S - Advanced Critical Theory. This course is a continuation of philosophic and theoretical writings, exploring concepts in epistemology, psychoanalysis, socio-political thought, economic theory, visual culture, semiotics, material culture, feminism, queer studies, postcolonial theory, critical race theory, and indigenous studies through primary texts. The estimated course enrollment is 20 students. The appointment dates are from January 1, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
