About The Position

This course, VIS209H1S - Contemporary Printing, offers an introduction to contemporary printmaking, encompassing everything from publishing to 3D printing. The course examines the concepts of copying and producing unique artifacts. Students will explore the meaning of image creation in the current era by utilizing both historical techniques and modern technologies. The estimated course enrollment is 20 students, with no estimated TA support. The sessional dates for this appointment are from January 1, 2027, to April 30, 2027, during the Winter semester.

Requirements

  • MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Strong exhibition history
  • Currently exhibiting artist
  • Expertise in contemporary printmaking strategies
