About The Position
This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the MSC2002HF course: Sequential Medical Communication. The course will involve in-person lectures and practical sessions. The lecturer will be responsible for the overall teaching of the course, including content preparation, delivery, assessment, and student contact. Additionally, the role includes supervising the day-to-day work of any Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Biology or related field
- Previous teaching experience in this course or similar courses
- Academic qualifications
- Ability and suitability for the position
Nice To Haves
- Qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III
Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of course content
- Development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams
- Calculation and submission of grades
- Maintaining regular office hours for student contact
- Completion of all grades, including potential make-up exams
- Supervision of the day-to-day work of Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants
