This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach EEB267H1F – Animal Diversity: Vertebrates. This course is an introduction to the diversity of chordate animals (vertebrates, tunicates, and lancelets). The focus will be on morphological, physiological, ecological, and behavioural traits that make each group special and how these traits increase vulnerability to human-based exploitation. Labs will involve living organisms for display purposes whenever possible. The estimated course enrollment is 100 students, with an estimated 150 hours of TA support. Lectures are scheduled for Mondays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and labs are on Tuesdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The sessional dates for this appointment are from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
