This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach MAT334H5S LEC101, Complex Variables, at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). The course covers the theory of functions of one complex variable, including analytic and meromorphic functions, Cauchy's theorem, residue calculus, and potentially topics from conformal mappings, analytic continuation, and harmonic functions. The estimated course enrollment is 75 students. The appointment is for the Winter 2027 term, from January 1, 2027, to April 30, 2027. The salary will be based on CUPE minimum salary rates for a full course, with specific rates for Sessional Lecturer I, I Long Term, II, II Long Term, III, and III Long Term. The class schedule is Monday from 12:00 to 13:00 and Friday from 15:00 to 17:00. TA support of 45 hours per tutorial per semester is provided.
