About The Position

The Servicing Vendor Manager manages a team of direct reports consisting of invoice clerks and vendor coordinators. Reporting directly to the Director of Vendor Management, this position will oversee day to day operations for invoice clerks and vendor coordinators. They will manage reporting, performance management, and communicate with invoice clerks and vendor coordinators on a daily basis. Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Six (6) plus years of experience, with one (1) plus years of management experience.
  • Knowledge of state and federal collection laws, as well as bankruptcy laws required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Interpersonal skills prompting a team environment.
  • Ability to professionally represent Exeter and maintain working relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including developing and delivering presentations to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clear direction to a team of direct reports to achieve department goals and metrics.
  • Maintains a process of continuous review, feedback, and action in order to spot areas of opportunity.
  • Creating and implementation of daily strategy of Exeter repo/invoicing assignments.
  • Establishes and develops a relationship and rapport with 3rd party vendors to assess their current performance levels as compared to contract requirements/service level agreement (SLA).
  • Interpret, communicate, and implement company policies and procedures which promote appropriate controls and governance, confidentiality of customer and company information, and compliance with all state and federal laws.
  • Serves as primary contact for production issue notification, escalation and resolution of day-to-day operations including monitoring of key performance indicators.
