About The Position

As a Servicing Specialist at AgCarolina Farm Credit, you will support loan origination, loan accounting, and servicing activities. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service to our members and internal partners while ensuring internal controls, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll work as part of a team that values teamwork, flexibility, attention to detail, and service to agriculture and rural communities. The Servicing Specialist will support the Clinton branch by providing loan origination, accounting, and servicing assistance —all while delivering exceptional service to members and internal partners.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating initiative and self-direction
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel for Association business, including commuting to the branch by opening and closing times
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to efficiently navigate multiple software systems and internal platforms
  • Understanding of data security, confidentiality, and proper system usage
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills

Responsibilities

  • Support loan origination by monitoring CRM queues, coordinating internal loan closings, verifying approvals and documentation, and completing post-closing follow-up
  • Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy security files, ensuring all documentation is complete and current
  • Perform loan accounting and servicing activities, including transaction processing, deposits, daily balancing, payment processing, and general ledger entries
  • Monitor system reports, resolve errors, and ensure internal controls, policies, and procedures are followed
  • Maintain collateral insurance and security files, including Deed of Trust releases and UCC continuations or terminations
