About The Position

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for managing loan files throughout the lending lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service to internal and external customers. This role supports loan funding, document review, file maintenance, investigating and responding to consumer disputes through the credit bureaus, and administrative functions while maintaining high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and operational quality. This role is required to come into the office 2 days per week to handle incoming correspondence via mail and other administrative duties.

  • Understanding of lending policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Experience maintaining electronic loan records and document management systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer correspondence, accounts logs and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
