We are looking for a skilled and motivated Servicing Specialist to help manage and scale a growing portfolio of business purpose real estate loans. This role is primarily focused on performing and early-stage delinquent loans (<45 days), while supporting broader servicing and asset management functions as needed. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment where processes continue to evolve. The right candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership of their work while collaborating closely with the team.

Requirements

  • Experience in loan servicing, portfolio management, or mortgage operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volume and competing priorities
  • Clear, professional communication with real estate investors and counterparties
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • Hard money / private lending / RTL experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with CRM/LOS/Servicing platforms preferred
  • Experience with non-performing or defaulted loans (NPLs), including foreclosure or loss mitigation exposure preferred
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., data organization, reconciliations, lookups) preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of performing and early-stage delinquent loans (<45 days)
  • Act as a primary point of contact for real estate investors, delivering a high-quality experience and helping them move efficiently through the lifecycle of their loan and onto their next project
  • Own and manage the servicing inbox and inbound call flow, ensuring timely, accurate responses and follow-ups
  • Monitor payment activity, including NSF/failed payments, and drive resolution
  • Conduct delinquency outreach and maintain consistent communication with real estate investors
  • Track loan maturities, payoff timelines, and extension requests; follow through to resolution
  • Review extension requests and provide input on eligibility and risk considerations
  • Coordinate and validate loan payoffs
  • Monitor rehab progress, track inspections/draw activity, and stay informed on slow draws and overall asset status
  • Ensure loan data integrity across systems (CRM/servicing platform) and maintain complete, audit-ready files
  • Support servicing transfers and portfolio onboarding, including data validation and reconciliation
  • Collaborate to maintain insurance compliance across the portfolio
  • Assist with counterparty reporting and internal portfolio tracking using Excel and internal systems
  • Identify issues, discrepancies, trends and escalate or resolve proactively
  • Provide coverage across the team, including support on more complex/defaulted assets when needed
  • Contribute to process improvements as servicing operations continue to scale
