Services Incubation Hub Manager

Schneider ElectricNashville, TN
Hybrid

About The Position

Joining the Services Incubation Hub means joining the team that invents what Schneider Electric’s services business becomes next. We are a team of builders and entrepreneurs. We take raw ideas for new energy services, ranging from AI native offers to software defined infrastructure to outcome based contracts, and turn them into proven, fundable bets, tested with real customers, backed by real evidence, ready to scale. We work like a startup inside Schneider Electric: small, senior, fast, close to customers, close to code and close to data. Our bets span Cloud and Service Providers, Power and Grid, and Buildings and Industries, the segments where ONE Services is building its next generation of offers. Our mindset is creative and experimental. We think in prototypes, not slide decks. We validate with customers before we build at scale, and we build with AI as a native tool, not an afterthought. Every idea moves through fast learning cycles: try it, test it with real customers, learn, and move again. The bets that prove themselves get handed to our Leagues to scale across Schneider Electric’s global services business. We are building this at a defining moment for the industry. Services are shifting from reactive maintenance to predictive and autonomous optimization, from hours of intervention to guaranteed outcomes, from cloud only architectures to hybrid and edge intelligence. Our ambition is to be the engine that gives Schneider Electric’s ONE Services strategy its next generation of offers, and to do it with the speed, creativity and technical edge of a native AI startup. If you are energized by ambiguity, by customer truth, and by building fast with AI at the core of how you work, this is your team. As Services Incubation Hub Manager, you own a portfolio of 4 to 7 incubations end to end within your segment, constantly juggling which bets to advance and which to drop, moving fast between customer conversations, prototypes and business cases. You are an entrepreneur and a technology lover at heart. You stay close to the tools, data and architecture behind every bet, but you never lose sight of the customer or the business case. You think in terms of business, not just technology. You don’t stop at challenges. You meet them with creativity and agility, and you fight for the ideas that deserve investment, the ones with real potential to become new services offers.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in the segment’s domain (Cloud & Service Providers, Power & Grid, Buildings, or Industries), ideally combining commercial and technical exposure.
  • Track record of managing multiple ambiguous initiatives concurrently.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant technical or business field.
  • Full professional English required; French an asset.
  • Regular travel for customer engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep understanding of the segment’s customers, market and technology (Cloud & Service Providers, Power & Grid, Buildings, or Industries).
  • Comfortable building something from nothing and owning outcomes end to end.
  • Genuine interest in and fluency with the technologies underpinning new services offers.
  • Thinks in terms of business case, customer value and monetization, not just technical feasibility.
  • Skilled at running structured customer conversations and translating them into decisions.
  • Treats obstacles as design challenges to work through, not reasons to stop.
  • Comfortable managing several concurrent bets and making real-time prioritization calls.
  • Owns each bet end to end, from idea to handshake.
  • Attacks the riskiest assumption first, sequencing questions by risk.
  • Fights for ideas worth investing in, building the evidence to support them.
  • Comfortable running structured discovery conversations with customers.
  • Pulls in the right transverse support at the right time.
  • Builds trust with league leaders ahead of the handshake.
  • Drives each bet forward without waiting to be told what’s next.
  • Juggles multiple bets at different stages without losing momentum.
  • Builds new domain and technical fluency as the segment evolves.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of 4 to 7 incubations end to end within your segment, from early idea through customer validation to league handshake
  • Continuously prioritize the portfolio, deciding in real time which bets to advance, pause or drop
  • Juggle multiple incubations concurrently at different stages, without losing momentum on any of them
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine love of technology to every bet, staying close to the tools, data and architecture behind each incubation
  • Balance technical curiosity with business discipline, keeping the customer and the commercial case at the center of every technically interesting idea
  • Keep the customer at the center of every incubation, testing real problems with real customers before committing further investment
  • Translate customer signals into decisions: what to build next, what to test, what to kill
  • Meet obstacles with creativity and agility
  • Fight for the ideas that deserve investment, building the evidence and the narrative needed to keep a promising bet alive
  • Draw on the Hub’s transverse capabilities (prototyping and agentic ops, venture and business design, strategy and portfolio governance, community and ecosystem) to move each incubation faster
  • Own the relationship with the receiving League for each incubation, preparing and leading the handshake when a bet is ready to scale
