ServiceNow Engineer
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to build and maintain solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications. The role focuses on hands-on platform configuration and development, including workflows, Flow Designer, scripting, integrations, user interface customization, and platform extensions. The engineer is expected to apply best practices that keep the platform clean, upgrade-safe, and performant, and to write maintainable code that supports production use and team continuity. This is a 100% remote position in the United States. It is a full-time, direct W2 role with an annual salary range of $85,000–$115,000. The employer is unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions; U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong JavaScript skills, including ES5/ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
- Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies.
- Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts.
- Experience with Service Portal widget development.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Nice To Haves
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified Implementation Specialist credentials in ITSM, HR, CSM, or ITOM.
- Experience with Now Assist or GenAI Controller.
- Familiarity with App Engine Studio.
- Exposure to multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
