ServiceNow DevOps Lead Developer Location: Chicago, IL Job Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow DevOps Lead Developer to lead the design, development, deployment, and automation of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, DevOps, CI/CD automation, integrations, and Agile delivery while driving best practices across the SDLC.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow Development and DevOps.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal/Employee Center.
• Hands-on expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Source Control (Git), Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, release management, and SDLC best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, performance optimization, and instance administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience with ServiceNow DevOps, ITOM Discovery, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
• Financial services or enterprise application experience preferred.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform.
