About The Position
The IT Asset Management team is modernizing asset management and technology lifecycle management processes across RBC through strategic ServiceNow platform enhancements. As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise-wide CMDB/ITAM solutions that streamline operations, improve service delivery, and strengthen our technology governance. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions while maintaining development excellence and best practices.
Requirements
- University or College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience as a Technical Analyst
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with demonstrated expertise in configuration, customization, and integration
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL with in-depth technical understanding across hardware and software platforms
- Experience in IT development, support, and implementation roles with strong knowledge of ITSM processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and deadline-driven, results-oriented mindset with commitment to high-quality standards
Nice To Haves
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator/Application Developer certification
- Prior experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Configure and develop ServiceNow platform solutions including workflows, UI design, business rules, and access controls to support ITAM processes
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal/external systems using APIs, orchestration, and data synchronization tools
- Analyze requirements, define technical specifications, and provide time estimates for small to large projects and ongoing maintenance work
- Implement and manage automated workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration to drive operational efficiency
- Lead deployment activities across non-production and production environments while adhering to SDLC standards
- Identify performance issues, analyze root causes, and implement enhancements to optimize system performance
- Document technical solutions, build artifacts, and runbooks to support knowledge transfer and operational support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ITSM leads, architects, and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and processes
