Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking the services of a ServiceNow Consultant/Developer. This role will serve as a lead developer and administrator, responsible for end-to-end ServiceNow implementations. The position involves hands-on configuration, development, integration, and quality assurance for all project deliverables. The consultant will leverage their expertise in ITIL, ITSM, and security disciplines to deliver automated solutions, including user provisioning, IT infrastructure library processes, workflow customization, ticketing automation, report and dashboard creation, and system configurations. The role requires designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow architecture across various modules like ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, SecOps, IRM/GRC, SPM, and HRSD, with a strong focus on Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB governance. The consultant will also provide technical leadership for cloud, identity management, security, and enterprise integrations, and implement DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) practices. Experience with LDAP, AD, SSO, web services, and various ServiceNow modules is essential. The position is primarily telework, with occasional office visits required. Services are expected during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM), but overtime may be required and will be compensated at the quoted hourly rate with pre-approval.
