About The Position

This is a full-time employment opportunity for a ServiceNow Business Analyst located on-site in Arlington, VA. The role requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen and available to work on-site full-time. The position involves creating epics and user stories, participating in the development of functional business requirements, evaluating business processes and technology solutions, and developing business and system requirements. The analyst will also analyze and document business processes and systems, facilitate requirements gathering, prepare client-facing deliverables, and interface with the application development team.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by our government client.
  • Must possess an active public trust and be able to complete/pass/hold a secret security clearance.
  • This position is full-time on-site (Arlington VA).
  • 6+ years professional IT experience.
  • 4+ years of experience of eliciting requirements and conducting business process reviews and documentation while applying detailed knowledge of ServiceNow.
  • Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong on-site and remote team and client relationships
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.

Responsibilities

  • Create epics, user stories with acceptance and testing criteria
  • Participate in the development of functional business requirements and help stakeholders assess relative priorities for both business process and technology solutions.
  • Evaluate alternative business processes and technology solutions and participate in making technology recommendations to enhance business operations.
  • Develop business and system requirements, functional designs, process flows, and test plans.
  • Analyze and document business processes and systems
  • Facilitate requirements gathering
  • Prepare client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
  • Interface with the application development team
