About The Position

The ServiceNow Functional Analyst partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to support the end‑to‑end delivery of ServiceNow solutions. This role focuses on requirements gathering, functional design, and validation across ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM modules. The analyst supports Agile delivery activities and ensures solutions align with business needs, governance standards, and operational processes.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in systems analysis or programming
  • Experience working with ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, or ITOM modules
  • Strong requirements gathering and functional design skills
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Experience supporting UAT planning and execution
  • Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured delivery environment
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Collaborative mindset with a business‑focused approach

Nice To Haves

  • Additional experience across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM
  • Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow implementations
  • Exposure to reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics within ServiceNow

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with business users and conduct requirement workshops
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Translate business needs into ServiceNow requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Design and validate workflows, catalog items, SLAs, assignment logic, and process flows
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure functional designs are implemented correctly
  • Support CMDB alignment and integration data mapping efforts
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and build reviews
  • Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing activities
  • Ensure release readiness and alignment with delivery timelines
  • Define test cases and functional validation criteria
  • Manage and facilitate UAT sessions with business users
  • Validate functional outcomes and confirm business acceptance
  • Assist with incident triage and root cause analysis
  • Define functional reporting requirements, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Collaborate with service desk and operations teams to support ongoing solution effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards, governance, and change control processes
  • Maintain clear and accurate functional documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle
