About The Position

Motorwerks BMW, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Service Valets, also called Porters or Lot Attendants. Valets support dealership operations by moving vehicles as needed and keeping the showroom and display lots neat and orderly. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience and learn how an automotive dealership operates in state-of-the-art facilities. Pay is $18 per hour. The position follows standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. The work takes place in a covered area and outdoors at times, where employees may encounter heat, cold, hazards, and noise. Applicants must have a valid driver's license; people under 18 may not drive vehicles off dealership premises.

Requirements

Ability to safely drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, routines, and standard practices.
Ability to interact well with others and work with a diverse group of people.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp.
Ability to talk and hear.
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or 10 pounds constantly.
Individuals under 18 may not drive vehicles off the dealership premises.
