About The Position

Toyota of Fayetteville, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Valets, also known as Porters or Lot Attendants. Valets support dealership operations by moving vehicles as needed and keeping the showroom and display lots neat and orderly. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience and learn the inner workings of an automotive dealership with state-of-the-art facilities.

The work is performed in a covered area and outdoors at times, with possible exposure to heat, cold, hazards, and noise. The position involves medium physical work, including lifting, pulling, or pushing objects, and requires standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and grasping. Standard business hours apply, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

• Able to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within provided instructions, routines, and accepted practices.
• Ability to interact well with others and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp; talk and hear; and handle the described physical demands.
• Applicants under age 18 may not drive vehicles off dealership premises.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
