About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Service Transition Manager to lead full-lifecycle IT infrastructure, hardware, and service transitions across a critical program. The role drives cross-functional delivery across Procurement, Change Management, Logistics, Production, Engineering, Network Architecture, and Customer Project Management teams, guiding voice, video, and data capabilities from initial concept through operational deployment in DISA/DoD environments. The manager leads transition activities for new or enhanced services, develops and executes Service Transition Plans, coordinates service onboarding, and validates network designs, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials. The position also participates in program governance forums, ensures compliance with program policies and controls, oversees service documentation, and works with DISA stakeholders, mission partners, and enterprise operations centers to integrate services into workflows, support models, and monitoring systems. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI, or the ability to acquire the required clearance, and a 40-hour workweek normally Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required during critical peaks and for last-minute requests. Compensation is listed at $185,000–$215,000. Amentum describes the role as not safety sensitive and states that employment is contingent on successful drug screening.
