Service Technician - Residential Remodeling Industry
About The Position
As a Service Technician on West Shore Home’s North Boston-Andover team, you will perform service work on customers’ windows, doors, showers, or baths safely and effectively. You will report directly to the Installation Manager and work closely with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals. The role involves meeting customers, reviewing the service area, keeping customers informed about progress, reviewing completed work with them, obtaining required signatures, and leaving the customer’s location clean and safe. The position is based in Andover, Massachusetts, with a Monday–Friday schedule beginning at 6:30 a.m. West Shore Home provides training, tools and equipment, and a vehicle, with gas and drive time covered. Requirements
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail.
- Experience in residential remodeling, carpentry, or construction.
- Pride in work and an unwavering commitment to customers.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Meet customers and take a visual tour of the service area.
- Keep customers apprised of service progress.
- Perform service on customers’ windows, doors, showers, or baths safely and effectively.
- Review completed service with the customer and secure required signatures.
- Leave the customer’s location clean and safe.
