Service Technician - Residential Remodeling Industry
About The Position
As a Service Technician on West Shore Home’s North Boston-Andover team, you will perform residential remodeling service work safely and effectively as part of the company’s mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home®. You will report directly to the Installation Manager and work closely with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals. The role involves meeting with customers, reviewing the service area, completing service work on windows, doors, showers, or baths, and ensuring the customer’s location is left clean and safe. This is a full-time W2 position based in Andover, Massachusetts, with a Monday through Friday schedule beginning at 6:30 a.m. The role offers unlimited overtime opportunities, company-provided tools and equipment, paid training, a company vehicle, gas, and covered drive time. Requirements
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail.
- Experience in residential remodeling, carpentry, or construction.
- Pride in your work and an unwavering commitment to customers.
- Valid driver’s license.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Meet customers and take a visual tour of the service area.
- Keep the customer apprised of service progress.
- Perform service on customers’ windows, doors, showers, or baths safely and effectively.
- Review service completion with the customer and secure required signatures.
- Leave the customer’s location clean and safe.
