About The Position

The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest and dealership vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards. This role ensures vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely while delivering high-quality workmanship and supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications preferred.
Completion of automotive technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
Manufacturer training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical resources.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and fluid replacements.
Repair and service vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and HVAC components.
Accurately document all work performed on repair orders.
Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations to Service Advisors or Shop Foreman.
Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical service bulletins, and warranty guidelines.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Adhere to all dealership safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.
Ensure all repairs meet quality standards before vehicle release.
Assist with additional service department tasks as assigned.
