About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light maintenance services while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides paid training. The role is described as part-time in the posting, and compensation is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Crew members may advance through the company, with over 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians.

Requirements

No experience required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, except that the minimum age is over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Learn to replace wiper blades and air filters and perform other light maintenance services.
