About The Position

Ferrellgas is hiring a dependable, hands-on Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers. The technician helps ensure customers’ homes and businesses stay safe and operational, responds to service needs, and provides helpful customer support. Starting pay is $33.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new employees for a limited time, with payments made in installments and subject to continued employment on payout dates and other terms and conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of related service or technical experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information.
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand.
