About The Position

Our modern, high-volume facility is located in the Fruitland, ID / Ontario, OR region, offering a consistent workflow and an outdoor lifestyle away from metro traffic and high housing costs. We emphasize career progression through factory online training with clear milestones, allowing technicians to advance without barriers. We offer different paths including Pit Crew Technician, Rapid Response Technician, Line Technician, Master Technician, and Used Car Technician.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of structured independent or dealership experience with a proven track record of efficiency.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to comfortably perform repairs and light diagnostics on all makes and models (off-make vehicles).

Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and light fluid maintenance.
- Handle critical preventative maintenance like differential services, drivetrain services, and coolant flushes.
- Perform light factory programming recalls and minor mechanical recalls (under 1.5 hours of warranty time).
- Cover all Pit Crew capabilities as secondary duties while taking on light vehicle repairs.
- Handle water pumps, timing belts, and secondary diagnostics.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mid-to-heavy mechanical and electrical issues.
- Handle the vast majority of customer-pay and warranty repairs with little to no daily guidance.
- Tackle the toughest electrical, drivability, and heavy engine/transmission diagnostics and repairs without guidance.
- Mentor Rapid Response techs.
- Inspect and recondition incoming trade-ins and auction purchases to a high standard for retail sale.
- Cover general maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and light factory recalls as shop needs dictate.
