As a Service Technician Mechanic, you will be working on commercial woodchippers, stump grinders, mini skid steers, and large horizontal grinders. You will troubleshoot machine breakdowns, diagnose issues, and test run or inspect vehicles and equipment for wear, damage, or specific problems that might affect performance. This role requires the use of computer diagnostic equipment and performing factory-recommended preventative maintenance and inspections. You will also ensure guards and safety devices are functioning properly, write clear parts requisitions, and document service write-ups. Maintaining good attendance and punctuality is essential, along with performing miscellaneous related duties as required and assigned by the manager.
