About The Position

Community Ford of Bloomington is hiring Service Technicians at all skill levels, including A and B technicians as well as senior diagnostic technicians. The shop offers clean workspaces, proper tooling, OEM scan tools, a responsive parts department, and a steady flow of work orders. Technicians are paid flat rate based on skill set and certifications, and the employer invests in training.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Own tools appropriate to skill level; specialty and shop equipment are provided.
• Pride in doing the job right, not just doing it fast.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to communicate with technicians, advisors, and parts staff.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose concerns using OEM-level test plans, scan tools, and proper verification steps.
• Handle electrical and drivability diagnostics appropriate to skill level.
• Document findings and repairs clearly and accurately.
• Work with service advisors and parts staff to keep repair flow moving.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
