About The Position

The Uftring Auto Group is hiring a Ford Service Technician to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems according to manufacturer and customer specifications. The role includes determining and performing services requested on repair orders, documenting work, operating and testing equipment and tools, and road-testing vehicles for quality checks.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with work every third Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Expected salary is $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. The company describes its service teams as expanding and offers opportunities for advancement and resources to gain experience.

Requirements

• Experience as a line technician with a major manufacturer.
• General mechanical skills and knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance.
• Good judgment and ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Diesel experience is a plus.
