About The Position
Coastline serves customers who cannot afford downtime, such as healthcare facilities and national foodservice brands. We are hiring an experienced Service Technician who can independently diagnose and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and foodservice equipment, including combi ovens, on demanding accounts. This role requires a high level of trust and autonomy, with no need for extensive supervision.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience across commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and/or foodservice equipment repair
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
- Proven ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently, without constant supervision
- Comfortable working in healthcare environments — background check and any facility-specific credentialing requirements are part of the role
- Own hand tools
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

Nice To Haves
- Combi oven experience is a strong plus
- CFESA certification (or strong desire to pursue) strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Full-scope diagnosis and repair across commercial refrigeration (walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines), light commercial HVAC, and foodservice equipment — including combi ovens and other combination cooking platforms
- Servicing healthcare and foodservice accounts where uptime is mission-critical and documentation standards are high
- Working independently in the field — owning the call from diagnosis to completion
- Performing preventative maintenance and warranty work alongside emergency repairs
- Direct coordination with your Regional Service Manager and Parts/Procurement on part sourcing and complex repairs
- Representing Coastline as the technician our national accounts specifically request back
