About The Position
Voss Village BMW is hiring a service technician for its automotive service department. The dealership describes itself as a premier BMW Center with a comprehensive parts and service department. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, performs routine tune-ups and maintenance, estimates repair labor and time, inspects and tests new vehicles for necessary adjustments, and may mentor technician trainees. The role offers access to up-to-date tools and technology, continued in-house and off-site training, and career support.
Requirements
- Must have a valid and clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Deadline- and detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Certified service technician with two years of dealership and/or independent technician experience is preferred.
- BMW dealership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles.
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance.
- Provide labor and time estimates for vehicle repairs.
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments.
- Mentor technician trainees.
