About The Position

Holman is a family-owned global automotive services organization. Busy BMW of Fort Lauderdale is seeking a BMW Technician to service and repair vehicles assigned by the Service Manager. The role performs work according to repair orders and dealership and factory standards, diagnoses and repairs malfunctions, and ensures repair quality through road tests. The technician is expected to maintain current knowledge of automotive diagnostic technologies and reference materials, keep the shop area clean, and account for dealership tools. The position requires adapting to changing technologies in the automotive and diagnostic fields. BMW/MINI experience is highly desired. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be available based on qualifications, and relocation assistance is available. The stated starting pay range is $21.00–$29.93 per hour, with wages based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location.

Requirements

At least 2 years of dealer-level or large-facility experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to undergo and satisfy background requirements.

Nice To Haves

BMW/MINI experience is highly desired.
UTI Fast Track graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

Service and repair vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.
Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnostic technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
Keep the shop area neat and clean and account for dealership tools at all times.
Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs are of satisfactory quality.
Adapt to changing technologies in the automotive industry and diagnostics.
