2nd shift Service Technician
About The Position
Earl Stewart Toyota is hiring a 2nd Shift Service Technician. The technician performs vehicle maintenance and repairs according to repair orders and dealership procedures, diagnoses automotive systems, tests vehicles and components, and communicates with Service Advisors about additional service needs and repair estimates. The role also includes completing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. Requirements
- Strong automotive background.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Learn and follow Earl Stewart Toyota's customer experience policy, the Earl Stewart Code.
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership procedures.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors so customers can be informed when additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
