About The Position

Scott Petroleum is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and service company equipment and support reliable, safe operations. The role involves equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, pipe fitting, operating company vehicles to transport equipment to job sites, safety compliance, service documentation, and collaboration with technicians and other departments. The position requires a valid CDL and pipe-fitting experience. The technician may also provide support and guidance to junior technicians.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven pipe-fitting experience and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working in various weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment, including pumps, meters, and related systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions.
Install, repair, and maintain pipelines using pipe-fitting skills, while meeting safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute pipe-fitting projects.
Operate company trucks and specialized service vehicles to transport equipment to job sites.
Maintain a valid CDL and follow applicable traffic and safety regulations.
Follow safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and report potential hazards or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service activities.
Complete work orders and service reports accurately and on time.
Coordinate tasks with technicians and other departments to support efficient workflow.
Provide support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
