About The Position

The Service Technician operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. The position is described as the heart of the business. The technician performs work safely in accordance with USS and DOT requirements and standards, services portable toilets to the USS 8 point service standard, and interacts with customers at work sites to ensure services meet their standards. The role requires flexibility to accommodate route changes and customer needs, providing routing feedback to operations personnel, and discussing customers’ current and future portable toilet needs.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl during work duties.
• Ability to lift and push between 50 and 150 lbs. frequently during the work shift.
• Ability to be flexible when routes need to be adjusted or changed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company service truck and drive to locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks.
• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work duties safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Service portable toilets to the USS 8 point service standard.
• Interact with customers at work sites to ensure services are completed to their standards.
• Adjust routes as needed to meet customer needs.
• Provide routing feedback to the Operations Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinator to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Discuss customers’ portable toilet needs and plan for their current and future needs.
