About The Position
A well-respected, single-specialty group near Greenville, Mississippi, is seeking its third general surgeon. Clinical work includes laparoscopic procedures, appendectomies, gallbladder, hernia, colon and gastrointestinal procedures, and breast biopsies. The ability to perform scopes is preferred. The position does not include trauma or robotic cases. The surgeon will share call on a 1:3 basis and will benefit from a strong referral system and supportive administrative staff. The local hospital serves approximately 60,000 residents and offers a 24-hour emergency room, surgical services, an ICU, and diagnostic imaging. The community is described as quaint, with a deep musical heritage, top-rated schools, outdoor recreation, shopping, and dining.
