About The Position

Excellent opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon to replace a retired physician. The ideal candidate has work experience after completing training. The surgeon will take over an established patient base from day one and work with experienced support staff, including 24/7 anesthesia coverage. The role involves a broad range of bread-and-butter general surgery cases, including scopes, with no robotics. The office is located on the hospital campus in a new Medical Office building. The position offers a strong referral base and shared call coverage. The area serves more than 35,000 residents and offers abundant outdoor activities, affordable homes, a variety of schools, scenic views across the Florida Mountains, and about 340 days of sunshine each year.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.
