About The Position

As Canada's trusted safety partner since 1935, we work alongside customers coast to coast to help ensure people return home safely at the end of every shift. This role involves inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy and off-road equipment. You will also service fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, alarms, and safety systems. The position requires handling scheduled and emergency service calls on-site, completing digital reports using an iPad, and working directly with customers to keep them informed and safe. Supporting inventory and maintaining service readiness, along with following and promoting strong safety practices, are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Mechanical background (heavy equipment, automotive, or similar)
Basic electrical & troubleshooting skills
Comfortable reading schematics and manuals
Confident using iPads / mobile tech
Strong communication & customer-facing mindset
Valid driver’s license & clean abstract
Able to pass background & drug & alcohol testing
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work in tight spaces & at heights on large equipment
Comfortable on uneven terrain and long site days
Sit/drive for extended periods
Pass ongoing site access testing (client requirement)

Nice To Haves

Experience with vehicle fire suppression systems (VFSS) (strong asset)
