About The Position
Levitt-Safety is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to support mobile HVAC systems on heavy equipment in mining and industrial environments. This role offers a 14/14 FIFO rotation, providing a better work-life balance by allowing you to work half the year. The position focuses on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance of mobile HVAC systems on various heavy equipment, with less emergency breakdown pressure than traditional service roles. Optional cross-training on fire suppression systems is available.
Requirements
- Red Seal or Journeyman HVAC certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Safety-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- Industrial, mining, or heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Fire suppression experience is not required - we’ll train the right technician.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics, repairs & preventative maintenance of mobile HVAC systems
- Field-based troubleshooting in mining environments
- Working with mobile HVAC systems on haul trucks, dozers, loaders, and off-road industrial equipment
