About The Position

Levitt-Safety is hiring mechanically inclined technicians to join our Vehicle Fire Suppression team supporting mining operations in Fort McMurray. This is a hands-on field role where you’ll learn to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and maintain fire suppression systems installed on heavy mobile equipment. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with tools, equipment, and problem-solving, we’ll provide training and development to help you grow in the role.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
Background in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, farming, trades, or similar environments
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Basic electrical or troubleshooting knowledge is an asset
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
Ability to pass background, drug, and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

Assist with inspections, repairs, and maintenance on vehicle fire suppression systems

Maintain tools, inventory, and service readiness
Follow all company and client safety procedures
