About The Position

This internship role involves maintaining and caring for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles. The intern will be responsible for keeping the work area clean, neat, and safe, and performing miscellaneous duties associated with the job. Key tasks include reconditioning and repairing tractors and other equipment, both in the shop and in the field. The intern will also be responsible for accurately posting and accounting for service time and materials used. Other related work may be requested by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use all equipment necessary to repair and recondition tractors and equipment.
• Must have own tools to perform repairs.
• Prior service technician experience is needed.
• Ability to diagnose problems and plan out methods and sequence of repair.
• Must have valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to be an approved driver for the company.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for all shop tools and equipment and vehicles that are assigned or used by Technician.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
• Perform all miscellaneous duties associated with the job.
• Recondition and or repair tractors and other equipment assigned in the shop or in the field area.
• Posting and accounting of service time and materials used.
• Perform other related work as requested by management.
