About The Position

This internship role focuses on maintaining and repairing shop tools, equipment, and vehicles. The intern will be responsible for keeping the work area clean and safe, reconditioning tractors and other equipment, and accurately accounting for service time and materials. The position also involves performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use all equipment necessary to repair and recondition tractors and equipment.
• Must have own tools to perform repairs, prior service technician experience is needed and the ability to diagnose problems and plan out methods and sequence of repair.
• Must have valid driver’s license in good standing, the ability to be an approved driver for the company and to safely operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for all shop tools and equipment and vehicles that are assigned or used by Technician.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and perform all miscellaneous duties associated with the job.
• Recondition and or repair tractors and other equipment assigned in the shop or in the field area.
• Responsible for posting and accounting of service time and materials used.
• Perform other related work as requested by management.
