About The Position

Services Technicians perform a wide range of internal duties that support the ongoing operation of Stormont Vail Health, including sanitation, laundry, and nutritional services. Nutritional Services Technicians prepare, service, deliver, and clean up food. This is a part-time, on-site, patient-facing position working a variable shift of less than 12 hours, 20 hours per week. The role is non-exempt, has no supervisory or budget responsibility, and may require delivery and pick-up between facility locations depending on department needs.

Requirements

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Handle food throughout the cooking, serving, and cleaning process.
• Sanitize and maintain the work area and equipment, including washing dishes and pans and ensuring proper temperatures during cooking and cleaning.
• Operate the cash register and be responsible for cash flow from customers.
• Document processes and procedures as necessary.
• Perform inventory and order supplies as necessary.
• Complete delivery and pick-up duties as needed by the department.
• Comply with Stormont Vail Health policies, standards, mandatory training, and requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
