About The Position
At El Pollo Loco, the Service Team Member helps create memorable guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient customer service and assisting with food preparation. The role includes greeting customers, helping them place orders, preparing and assembling menu items, maintaining cleanliness, processing payments accurately, and using suggestive selling. Team Members work collaboratively with restaurant colleagues and management to meet operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards. Previous customer or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
- Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing food items in compliance with company recipes and procedures, including assembling menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa or dressing, and packing condiments.
- Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, accurately, and on time.
- Use suggestive selling to complete the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness.
- Handle payment and cash transactions accurately and professionally.
